✅ Check Your Subscription Info First
Make sure the account credentials and assigned profile listed in your subscription are correct. Use the correct profile location.
Goingbus Subscription List
Open your browser and go to https://www.max.com
On the profile page, select the correct profile and click “Edit Profiles”
Select the profile you want to lock and click the ✏️ icon
Enable “Require PIN to switch profiles”
Enter the Max account password from your Goingbus subscription to verify identity
Enter your desired 4-digit PIN and click “Save”
→ Your PIN has now been set.
Again, go to “Edit Profiles”
Select the locked profile → Click ✏️ icon
Under the PIN section, click “Reset Profile PIN”
Enter your HBO Max account password to verify
In the PIN field, enter a new 4-digit PIN → Click “Save”
✅ Your new PIN has now been saved!
Again, go to “Edit Profiles”
Select the locked profile → Click ✏️ icon
Under the PIN section, click “Lock Profile”
Enter your Max account password → Click “Next”
Wait a moment — the profile will show as unlocked!
✅ The profile no longer requires a PIN.
Open the HBO Max App
Log in to your account
Tap the Profile icon in the bottom-right corner
Select “Edit Profiles”
Choose the adult profile to lock (⚠️ Child profiles do not support PIN setup)
Tap the ✏️ icon in the top-right corner
Scroll down to find and enable “Lock Profile”
The system will prompt you to:
Enter your HBO Max account password
Set a 4-digit PIN
Tap “Save” to complete the setup
📌 After this, the system will ask for the PIN whenever you switch to this profile.
To change your PIN (not delete it):
Go to “Edit Profiles” → Select the locked profile → Tap ✏️
Tap “Reset Profile PIN”
Enter your account password to verify
Enter a new 4-digit PIN
Tap “Save”
✅ Your old PIN will be replaced with the new one.
To remove the PIN lock:
Open the app → Go to “Edit Profiles”
Tap the locked profile → Tap ✏️
Tap “Reset Profile PIN”
Enter your account password
Leave the new PIN field blank
Tap “Save” to remove the PIN
📌 Leaving the field blank will delete the previous PIN.

✅ Set a PIN

✏️ Modify (Reset) Your PIN
Again, go to “Edit Profiles”
Select the locked profile → Click ✏️ icon
Under the PIN section, click “Reset Profile PIN”
Enter your HBO Max account password to verify
In the PIN field, enter a new 4-digit PIN → Click “Save”
✅ Your new PIN has now been saved!
❌ Delete a PIN
Again, go to “Edit Profiles”
Select the locked profile → Click ✏️ icon
Under the PIN section, click “Lock Profile”
Enter your Max account password → Click “Next”
Wait a moment — the profile will show as unlocked!
✅ The profile no longer requires a PIN.

✅ Set a PIN (Lock an Adult Profile)
Open the HBO Max App
Log in to your account
Tap the Profile icon in the bottom-right corner
Select “Edit Profiles”
