[Netflix] What to Do If Someone Else Alters Your Profile1-11

GoingBus strives to ensure that every user can enjoy the benefits of shared subscriptions. When you opt for a one-profile package, you will be sharing an account with other users, with each person having their own profile. It's possible, during the sharing of subscriptions, that some users might mistakenly modify someone else's profile details.

We offer several solutions to this issue:



Rename Your Profile



If you notice that your personal data has been altered by others, you have the option to change the name of your profile. This can effectively prevent misuse of your information.

Standard Naming Convention: Use your profile number followed by your nickname.

Examples:

1-karl,2-chark,3-Jordan

Set a PIN for Your Profile



You also have the option to set a PIN for your profile to safeguard it from unauthorized changes.

For the New Version of Netflix:


Log into Netflix on your PC using your subscription details from GoingBus, and navigate to the "Account" section.



Click on “Manage profiles” at the bottom of the page.



Choose your profile (for instance, profile 1).



Click on “Profile lock”.



When prompted, enter the login password for your Netflix subscription.



Opt to “Require a PIN to access [Profile Name],” and set a 4-digit PIN.



Click "save" to finalize the setting of your profile PIN.



For the Older Version of Netflix:


Access Netflix on your PC with your GoingBus subscription details, and go to the "Account" section.



Click the arrow next to your profile (e.g., profile 1).



Click on “Profile Lock” and then “change”.



Input your Netflix subscription login password when prompted.



Choose to “Require a PIN to access [Profile Name],” and set a 4-digit PIN.



Click "save" to finalize the setting of your profile PIN.



Reset the Viewing History of Your Profile



You can erase the Netflix viewing history of other users on your profile by following these steps:

Log into your PC with the subscription details we provided from GoingBus.
Enter the account management interface at https://www.netflix.com/YourAccount.
In the new version, go to "Manage Profile" at the bottom of the interface.




Locate your profile (e.g., profile 1).



Click on “View Activity”.



In the lower right corner, click “Hide All”.



Confirm to hide all activities, which clears the viewing history for that profile.
