【Canva】How to clear history and delete used designs? Will it be synchronized? 16-4

⚠️ Note:

Before an account is resold, the website will delete the previous user’s designs.
If you notice leftover projects after your purchase, don’t worry — the account is not shared.
During your subscription, you are the only one using the account.
The previous designs might simply have been missed during cleanup.
You can follow the instructions below to delete them manually.

[How to Clear History / Delete Designs in Canva]

*

📁 Method 1: Delete a Single Design

Log in to the Canva website:

Click “Projects” or “Your Designs” on the left sidebar.

Locate the design you want to delete, then click the three-dot menu (⁝) in the upper-right corner of the design.

Select “Move to trash”.

*

🗑 Method 2: Empty Trash (Permanently Delete)

From the Projects page, scroll to the bottom-left corner and click “Trash”.

Find the design you want to permanently delete.

Click the design → three-dot menu → “Delete Permanently”.

📌 Note: Canva keeps items in the Trash for about 30 days. You can restore them during this time.

🕘 [What is Canva History? Can It Be Cleared?]

Canva does not have a traditional "browsing history" system.

However, design files do have Version History, which allows you to view and restore past versions — but not delete them.

Recently edited designs appear on your homepage, but this is not a separate history feature.

❌ There is no single button to clear history — you must manually delete design files.

🔄 [Will Deleted Designs Sync Across Devices?]

Yes.
As long as you’re using the same Canva account, deletion is synced across all devices — Web, Mobile App, and Tablet:

When you delete a design:

It disappears from Projects and Home across all devices.

It is moved to the Trash.

Once permanently deleted, it cannot be recovered from any device.
